The Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show will relocate to the new Silverstone Wing events venue next year.

The professional clothing, durable workwear and personal protective equipment show has previously been held at Ricoh Arena in Coventry but will switch venues for its next edition from 16 to 17 April 2013.

“As an iconic global venue, Silverstone will no doubt add some glamour to the show, but we have decided to make our home here primarily because it has so much to offer,” the show’s MD Yvette Ashby said.

“Silverstone has state-of-the-art event facilities that will accommodate all our needs and most importantly those of our exhibitors and visitors.”

Ashby also pointed to the site’s many motorway links and location 90 minutes north of London and 60 minutes south of Birmingham.

Silverstone opened its £27m events Wing last year and finished work on the site in May. It offers 3,700sqm across three connected halls along with smaller conference and meeting rooms, VIP hospitality areas and a balcony overlooking the Formula 1 circuit.

The fifth annual Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show has confirmed several features at the upcoming event including a new two-day WorkIT Conference held in conjunction with NANO Magazine and supported by the Institute of Nanotechnology.

A new buyers’ lounge for end users with free breakfast and lunch, buyers networking party and a fashion catwalk show are also on offer.

Organiser Corporate Clothes Show said the workwear, protective and corporate clothing industry remained vibrant and dynamic, and is worth €37bn (£28.78bn) in Europe encompassing 48m wearers. It added the show continues to thrive because of its commitment to a ‘change or die’ strategy each year.
