Conference examines workwear innovation

A conference on innovation in workwear, corporatewear and PPE will take place on 13 April at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry alongside the 2010 Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show, which is being held at the same venue on 13 – 14 April.

The conference will discuss personal protective equipment (PPE) legislation, the practicalities of sourcing during an economic downturn and ways in which buyers and sellers can work together more effectively. It will also cover long distance manufacturing, nanotechnologies and the next generation of protective clothing.

Speakers will include Daren Turner, operations manager of Incorporatewear; Ann Dowdeswell, sales director of De Baer; Robin Vryenhoef, sales manager of Syscom; Helen Harker, head of design at Simon Jersey; and Robert Kaiser, founder of the PPSS Group.
