Camouflage uniforms for the British Army are to be made in China, the  Government has revealed.

The Ministry of Defence has signed a £12million deal which will see Far East  workers stitching together a new type of multi-terrain fatigue for UK  soldiers.

Junior defence equipment minister Peter Luff admitted: “The new uniforms are  being supplied by a UK company which has sub-contracted manufacturing work to a  company based in China.”
